In that role, Mr. Gutierrez was responsible for litigating approximately twenty-five (25) condemnation cases involving the acquisition of a variety of property interests for the eleven (11) mile pipeline project. In 2006, Mr. Gutierrez second-chaired an eminent domain jury trial in Sacramento County, which resulted in a favorable verdict for the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sacramento. Mr. Gutierrez has conducted dozens party and expert witness depositions, has extensive law and motion experience in various jurisdictions, and has represented clients in numerous mediations and settlement conferences.

In addition to litigation, Mr. Gutierrez also has experience handling transactional matters including negotiating and preparing commercial leases, purchase and sales agreements, deeds, and other documents related to real property acquisition.
